Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Thunnar is the band's excavation expert. Since he was a hatchling he's been found doing nothing but digging, tunneling or burying something. This draco can often be found caching any treasure he gets in his grip under a nice pile of dirt and plunking a large rock on top, just in case. Magpie-like, Thunnar will take anything shiny and hide it, assuming it his. Greedy but well meaning, Thunnar is an enthusiastic member of the band, eager to assist Orrin and Rion if it means getting a reward. He is very wary of Alkin, the firebrand of the band, never revealing any hiding place while the Black is in view.
