Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It spends its time pouncing on insects.
And look! It’s grown its wings! It must be close to maturing. It is also now covered in brightly colored stripes.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. Their scales don’t grow in until right before they mature, and they have almost no strength. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are usually left alone by their mother and begin to hunt and survive on their own.

Yarrok's name comes from the word for "green" in Hebrew. He's a rather serious little Hatchling, and prefers to spend his time with the adults. He thinks of himself as much more mature than most of his peers, and can't wait for the day when he no longer has to spend his time with the other Hatchlings. His favorite things to eat are caterpillars, although some of the Hatchlings accuse him of just being too lazy to hunt the faster insects.
