Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The leaves fall, one by one, in all the colors see fit. Reds, oranges, browns, golds, and sometimes greens. Nestled underneath the accumulating piles of these leaves, rested Autumn Ootamu, or just Autumn for short. From the day she hatched from her egg, at first on top of the cushion of leaves, she began to playfully burrow under it, creating her own miniature cave to live in. She's always been the solitary type, never the one to speak first, but always likes to join in on games all her friends have to offer.

Because she was so solitary, she found great joy in just playing with whatever materials she had around her, normally the leaves. If there wasn't enough natural ones, then of course she could always just use the ones she had growing on her. Every so often, though, a cold breeze would blow, hinting the arrival of winter, and she would try to retain as many leaves as she could, as shelter against the elements.
