Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Vid came to Kaini's clan as a hatchling: simply wandered into the wooded area the clan calls home. The small dragon introduced himself as Vidales to the other dragons, surprising them with his level of intelligence for such a young thing. He told them he had come from a place called 'Reach', but would not go into details.

Vid was nonetheless accepted happily into Kaini's clan, and grew up just like the other silver dragons. A female black dragon named Cyber took a liking to him, and that was that.

His new owner however tends to get on Vid's nerves, always pestering the silver about the place he called Reach, desperately trying to get him to reveal its true nature.
