Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New types of dragons are added regularly!
Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Often called Nitpicker, this young male had ostracized himself from the other dragons, believing them unworthy of his presence. Lonely and crest fallen, he roamed aimlessly for decades, searching for that one perfect beauty.
Then one night his nose caught a strange, wonderful scent. He followed it, drawn by some unknown power to the edge of a crystal clear lake. There, under the light of a full moon, he spotted a lone Pink. Her scales glimmered in the moonlight and starlight both from the clear skies above and reflecting up from a calm pool she knelt over as he watched her drink from still waters. Awe struck, he had at long last found a beauty to match his own, but it all seemed so trivial compared to the pure love he felt swelling in his chest and he knew he would never be lonely again.
A Heartseeker watched the young couple from his shadowy hide and smiled as they nuzzled, listening to their purrs of contentment and affection drifting over the lake. Tonight was a good night.
