Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

For a few years Paul was mainly known for his incredible fruitful partnership with his mate Art. The two of them were the darlings of the Moonsilver Artists' Association, and every dragon in the clan loved them. But Paul felt that the two of them grew apart in regards of their feelings as well as their art, so he broke up their partnership and went on to have a solo career. Paul has been a lot more successful than Art ever since. Yet some think it a bit cruel that the small dragon composed a gleeful song about "50 ways to leave your mate".
