Harvest Dragons are a large, flightless breed most often found in heavily forested mountains. Normally shy, these omnivorous dragons keep to themselves in remote regions, but in the fall they descend from their high territory to search for food—and lots of it. During the autumn months, harvest dragons will eat whatever they can find, from large and small animals to nuts and fruit. In the winter they retreat into large caves and hibernate until spring, living off the fat they have built up.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Snuffling around for mushrooms is one of Amatsu's foremost hobbies. While she enjoys knocking fruit off trees and scavenging the occasional nest of insects, she can spend hours and hours sniffing and digging around the forest floor in search of tasty fungus tidbits. Sometimes she'll even find these particularly pungent chunks that she's noticed humans go absolutely crazy over, offering her treasures and heaps of food in exchange for these "troubles" or "fluffles" or whatever it is the cooks call them. Amatsu doesn't really remember what the name of those things are, she just knows that if she brings them to a castle baker or cook, they'll trade her several days' worth of food even if the smelly mushroom thing is very small in comparison.
