Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Misuto was always lost. Her name means "mist" in the language of an island country to the far east. Looking back, she's not quite sure why she fled that place, but she has since decided it was the greed of others. The humans tried countless times to capture her. Then she trusted no one; she always assumed they were only being nice to her because of her heritage and breed. That is, until Naito, or "Night" in her tongue, showed up. When he approached her she shunned him at first too, though he refused to leave her. She would always hiss at him when he came near, but he would sit at the edge of her small cave and weave stories for her. When she started to listen, his stories seemed to brighten the cave with their wonder. Though she was still wary; maybe he was like the others who just wanted her for her rarity. When she asked him this his answer was simple, "You can either believe me when I say I love you like no other, or you can believe I am lying and leave me." She decided to believe him forever.
