Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Gravelo is known for being proud and show-offish when it comes to his powers of manipulating the earth. He often uses the dirt that's dug up during cave extentions to make sculptures of himself. The hatchlings love seeing his work and get the urge to play on the sculptures which always sends them crumbling to the ground, much to Gravelo's dismay. No one is quite sure why he abandoned his original clan ,who loved his work, for Draakigaga, and he never answers when asked that question.
