White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kavaned was one of the first dragons ever to enter Tybeebird's clan. During the "dark times", when Tybeebird vanished for nearly two years, he served as a healer to any ill dragons in the clan. Much to his dismay, he has never met his mother or father—a white dragon like himself and a legendary silver dragon. All he knows about his past is that he was abandoned as a egg, and that nobody cared to take him with them because he was a simple white dragon.
