Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Some vampire dragons are born leaders, commanding respect and obedience from an early age.  Others, though they lack the ability or desire to lead, still manage to establish a formidable reputation.  Some few even manage to reject traditional vampire ways altogether, setting out to forge their own path.  Skavenge, though, falls into none of these categories.  He's inept, cowardly, unpleasant, and destined to be eternally at the very bottom of the vampire hierarchy.  Skavenge, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, believes he could easily be the equal of Alkan Bloodfang or Hadek Nightbane, and repeated failures to improve his standing do nothing to sweeten an already sour temper and only lead to further mocking from the other vampires.  Lest one feel too sorry for Skavenge, though, it should be noted that he never misses the opportunity to bully dragons smaller and weaker than himself—pygmy dragons, mints, and the like.
