White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Joan has had a hard time as a hatchling as a descendant of Minas Orkface. Some of the others were mean to her, because they saw her as an impostor. Others were even afraid, fearing her to be somehow part-Orc and therefore a wild brutish thug.

Nothing could be further from the truth, though: Joan is a humble, peaceful and honest dragoness. She spends most of her days preparing medicine instead of dealing with the patients, as she is still traumatized from the treatment she got as a hatchling. Even today some dragons still watch her with distrust.
