Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Roak is quite shy for a Green Dragon, usually staying in the confines of his cave. In there he builds the surrounding landscape out of rock. He does come out every morning to watch the sunrise. Roak is very close with his adoptive "brothers" Volda and Kairdo, of which he is the middle one. He has one son, Mogra, who grew to enormous size.
