Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

After living in the Great Lakes for most of his life, Ruyji recently resettled to the coast. The saltwater environment is far more to his liking, even though he had to leave behind his mate Mujina and the other members of his pod. The ocean-dwelling dragons welcomed him with open fins and the Tidal Magnesium quickly became his best friend.

Ruyji hopes that Mujina will follow him soon because he still hopes that the two of them will be able to reconcile once the beautiful dragoness sees how wonderful the oceans are.
