When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Water of Blue Lake is a tribe dragon, with the nickname of Water. Water lives in a lake that connects about half of the clans and tribes of the Kestrek-stuce area's rivers and streams. She has an important job to make sure that nothing clogs up her streams, mostly because of the rewards.

Many years ago, Water's lake was connected to fewer rivers. One day an ancient tribe leader, named Whip of Striped Tail, asked Water to wreck a dam some beavers had built in the stream, blocking off their water. At the time, the Water dragon always asked for something in return for her services. Whip's tribe at the time had nearly nothing because of the water shortage, for they were currently trading their golds for water. After she refused to unblock the stream, Whip didn't return for 10 days. When she did return, she was thin from hunger and thirsty for water. This time, Whip brought her a glimmering golden scale. She unblocked the stream, and then on it was a tradition to give presents to Water.
