Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Akashoun is a jovial, cheerful dragon- during autumn at least. As summer winds down, a smile is seen on her face more often, and as winter begins she starts to grow grumpy once again. She also talks a lot less during the other seasons. She goes into a state similar to hibernation around spring, and if woken up from her sleep, she'll snap at whatever was at fault- dragon, human, or animal. However, during fall, she is quite possibly one of the friendliest dragons in the cave. She's known to give gifts at random and do anything she's asked without asking for anything in return. This makes her a favorite of most hatchlings born during fall. She adores building up large piles of leaves just to jump into them and send them flying, or to hide underneath them and pop out and surprise the next dragon that comes by.
