Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s chubby and pink with a faint rose-like smell.
And look! It’s grown wings and the flower is blooming! It must be close to maturing.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. Their scales don’t grow in until right before they mature, and they have almost no strength. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are usually left alone by their mother and begin to hunt and survive on their own.
This little hatchling loves flowers. She has a taste for bright blooms, so she cultivates them carefully. Sadly, not many get to see the beauty of her grown blossoms because of her appetite. She eats the flowers nearly as soon as they open.
She does smell lovely, though. Unlike most dragons, her breath is always fragrant with a garden-fresh scent.
