Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

In the heart of Jehumuh Desert resides Fracktail. Scales bleached by the harsh sun and giant wings sheltering her, half-buried in eons of sand swept over her, she's almost invisible to the unobservant. She has not moved from this spot for over three millennia, closely guarding one special item she holds dear. Those who seek safety from the sun under her wings are usually made aware of her presence when she begins telling tales from far and wide. But she fears making friends for she has outlived most. Once she sheltered and befriended Hero-King Marth and has since only ever heard stories of him. She doesn't know if he's even still alive.

In recent decades she was finally discovered by another Stone dragon, Chertemarl. Winning Fracktail over, he in turn settled down beside her, covering her worn old wings with one of his. It was here she finally revealed the item she held: a tiny pewter kangaroo, owned by the person who lovingly raised her as their first dragon—thousands of years ago.
