Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Hallowdark once had quite a large family. Between herself and her mate, Darkwing, their three hatchlings, her parents, and the many hatchlings her parents adopted and had together, theirs was always a loud, active section of the cave, filled with laughter and shouts. In her youth, Hallowdark was a self-conscious and shy dragon, but as she grew, as she began a family with her mate, Darkwing, she lost that shyness, that fear of the world.

The Great War brought it back to her. Chased out of the fertile inner territories by King Yule and his supporters, Hallowdark knows exactly how lucky she was to have survived with her mate and their hatchlings. Her parents were not so lucky. Her little siblings were not so lucky. Oh, skies, she knows she is lucky, but now she finds herself caught by fear, jumping at every little sound, constantly asking herself why she should have lived and almost all her little siblings... Their little bodies...

She is lucky, but doubt rules her mind once again.
