Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The Angel of Cheer really is a holiday dragon. As a CheerSnow AngelChristmas dragon, she was born on Christmas day in an egg that the humans really liked. She hatched in the middle of the holiday season, and grew up New Years Day. She combines Christmas and New Years in the span from egg to adult, celebrating holiday spirit everywhere. Cheer loves to play with her younger and frozen sister, The Angel of White Snow, and has a strong sense of maternity over the little hatchling. Cheer hates to see Snow get hurt. Cheer and Phaim, a Yulebuck, protect Snow and Phaim's son, Minty, from harm such as Lai the vampire. In her free time, Cheer loves to spread Christmas joy.
