Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is clearly a water animal.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Cumberland Screamer is one of the least loved dragons residing in Cumberland Lake. She has been known to float much too close to its salty surface, and fishermen constantly run her over, causing her to scream and carry on. Her screams are piercing and bring great guilt to these men, and every sailor or fisherman takes great care to look out for this ignorant and nearly invisible hatchling.
