Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ignata Entitae is a magma dragon. She is very calm and doesn't move much, but she can quickly become alert and ready if her clan's camp is in any danger of being attacked. However, she is very diplomatic, and doesn't believe in the use of force if she hasn't tried a peaceful solution first. Even though she is not particularly pretty nor attractive, she does have a mate, Silent Observer. Being a legendary, she is often admired and worshiped by some of her clan's dragons, but she doesn't think she deserves the lavish offerings and attention that they give her. Rather, she often shoos them off and tells them to do something useful, which her disciples do eagerly.
