Golden Wyverns are known for their beautiful metallic scales and rumored magical abilities. Living high in the mountains, these dragons do not believe in killing for sport or pleasure. They will hunt only when hungry and defend themselves when provoked, but will avoid killing to the best of their abilities. Golden Wyverns often mingle with other dragons of similar color and take pride in their shimmering hide.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Tahnaweta is a prouder beast than most of his kind, taking his breed's love of their own golden sheen to such heights that he frequently refuses to mingle with creatures of "lesser color" entirely. This haughtiness might arise in part due to his ancestry; grandchild of the two fabled gold hued winter magi dragons, he speaks of his inheritance with the greatest joy, believing the fortune of his birth is proof that his supremacy theory is right. While the story could end there, with other creatures simply giving his arrogance a wide birth for all eternity, his step sister is fiercely determined to set him straight. Knowing the gentle, protective side her brother displays around others of his species, she's certain that with enough corrective pushes he can learn to share that warm heart of his with everyone, no matter what the color of their hides.
