Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Eowemir roughly translates to "Gifted One"—a tribute to a kind dragon keeper who upon seeing Hawktalon's disapointment of being unable to even catch a glimpse of the ruby shell of one of the rarest dragons documented, gave her the egg she had found earlier, abandoned like so many others of more common breeds. She treasured the new egg because of its rarity, taking extra care to make sure it didn't get the deadly soft-shell disease, but also filling her other dragons' hearts with jealousy. Several of them plotted to get revenge on the creature who had absorbed all of their owner's attention. But before the killing blow could be struck, young Eowemir woke from his nest and, upon demanding to know what was happening, quickly settled their dispute with a few well-spoken words and promises. Since then, many have tried to discredit him, saying the Holly twists words to get the outcome he wants, but all he really does is put himself in their paw prints and listen to both sides.
