Rosebud Dragons are a fun and social breed found most often in the spring. The petal-like feathers that grow on their sides spread their sweet and floral scent. Although they have poor eyesight, they have ribbon-like extensions that extend their olfactory abilities to help create a map of the area around them. When flying, Rosebud dragons tend to hover, using their wings to fan their scent throughout the air. A widespread breed, they go to great effort to visit as many flowery fields as possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

There is a city entirely of dracons in the northeast, and among its many inhabitants is Wiren. She has been mostly ignored by her peers, except for the fact that most every dracon in the city has heard of the strange devices she sometimes forges, that are incomprehensible to them. They do not trust these devices enough to try using them, but a strange fox demon named Kat often purchases and requests even stranger things from blueprints.

Wiren is rather shy, and somewhat hurt that her devices are looked badly upon, but tries not to let it upset her. Her talents at forging have been called upon to make practical tools by a brave few, and she is actually one of the best smiths in her city. The only reason she is not often visited is that many distrust her stranger devices. Many who do have her craft things refuse to say where her tools were forged for the fear they be associated with her stranger side.

She recently has been hiding her stranger projects to try and clear the distrust of her.
