Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Sunwing has never known a family outside of Nii-Chan's growing one. As a young hatchling, she was picked upon by other dragons, and those Nii-Chan protected had always come to her aid. This has been fundamental in devloping Sunwing's gregarious nature. She often helps her perceived mother, Rouge, raise the younger ones, enlisting Firescale on occasion (assuming of course the red female isn't on another temper tantrum.) Sunwing's most anticipated performance occurs as the suns rises and sets. The sunrise dragon flies upward until she blocks the sun from view, and spreads her semi-translucent wings. The sun's light is refracted across a large area down below, bathing Nii-Chan and the other dragons in soft dancing light, a magnificent sight in its own right. This is her gift to her guardians, to those who have protected her so long ago.
