Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Shoivu roared fiercely, causing the earth around the huge green dragoness to start trembling. Her bright red eyes glowed, her shiny teeth reflected the bright sun shining down, and her dark brown claws made a deep scar into the earth when she stepped back. She slammed her tail on the ground, evoking another earthquake, until she finally heard what she wanted to hear.

She jumped in the air while stretching her wings, and skyrocketed towards the clouds with just a few movements of her large wings. She looked back, and saw the island sinking in the lake. An immense feeling of happiness filled her and a last smile could be seen before she disappeared behind the clouds again.
