Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Perspicuus Lingua's name means "Light Tongue" in Latin, and he is well known for his quick and witty remarks. Words that cheer and make others laugh seem to come out of his mouth very easily. He is inbred because his father was actually his mother's son, so he susceptible to infections because of this inbreeding. Even when he is suffering from an extremely potent bought of infection his demeanor is very cheerful. He loves to hear others laugh and loves to laugh and enjoy life himself. The singing gene that is carried so potently carried in his mother and less potently in his father did not pass down to him strangely. He can't even get close to carrying a tune, much less one as spellbinding as his mothers.
