Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Frost is the result of a passionate affair of his father with his mother. His father Tom loves his regular mate Kathleen more than anything. They had several hatchlings between them and their art to keep them occupied and happy. And yet Tom couldn't resist the lively Frostbite dragoness Panaki once he laid eyes upon her. Frost knows that no matter how perfect or strong love (or anything really) appears to be, when the right kind of distraction comes along it can be over in a heartbeat. His own existence is the very proof of that.

And yet no situation ever is hopeless. Kathleen forgave his father and took him back and the two of them are stronger in their dedication to each other than ever. Frost is happy to see true love prevail and knows that his mother is too busy with her own circle of friends to mind too much anyway.
