Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

PyRe8 moved halfway across Valkemare to Nworset with mGyRe when financial difficulties threatened their restaurant. The climate is very different from his old home, but he takes full advantage of the warmth of the hotspring that encouraged GyRe to settle by blowing the hot steam over his maize and tomatillos. He is often too busy to do much socialising, but he has hit it off with Doctor Whom over a mutual love for ridiculously oversized sombreros. It is one of the few things PyRe does that GyRe dislikes—and Wibbley Wobbley Viney Winey isn't too fond of his mate goofing off with that particular variety of hat, either—but the two of them don't mind. Whatever anyone else says, hatters gonna hat.
