Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Business is very serious. He knows precisely what he wants and he has no qualms about getting it. What he wants is fairly simple- respect. To gain this respect, he always walks about with his head and tail held high, looking rather calm and sedate for a whiptail. He ignores any dragons who act hyper or crazy (which accounts for at least twenty percent of the clan's population- curse those inbred genes!), choosing instead to hold weighty conversations with his peers. No one's quite sure what he's useful for.
