Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Roza loves the night as much as the next Royal Blue, but he wished that the moons wouldn't only offer silvery-blue or warm, blood-tinted colours. In his mind the soft, warm, fuzzy colours of a sunrise are simply perfect. He has often talked with his Sunrise and Sunsong clan mates about this absolutely perfect light which only new days seem to offer and frequently stays up extremely late (or early—depending on perspective) to join in the festival of fresh colours a new dawn brings to the world.
