Lunar Heralds are deeply attuned to the two moons of Valkemare, Aurax and Cirion. Strictly nocturnal, they draw energy from moonlight and will only hunt when the moons have waned. When breeding, the amount of moonlight the parents receive from each moon will determine the color of the egg produced. When a Lunar Herald is struck by direct moonlight, an illusion of multiple wings may appear. Witnessing a Lunar Herald’s illusory wings is commonly believed to be a sign of good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Fran Bow Dagenhart, otherwise known simply as Fran, is a very innocent, almost naive, dragon. She loves to examine and scrutinize her surroundings, and combine objects together. Sure, she's very nice and polite, but most say she's curious almost to the point of being annoying.

She has a very vivid imagination and thinks very vivid thoughts, especially about the people around her and about what they're thinking. Most of the time, her guesses are strangely correct—Fran seems to have a rather strange sense of empathy towards others. Above all, however, she loves animals, especially cats.

Even though she is such a kind dragon, many have often questioned her about the strange things that she claims to be able to see—talking to the air around her is a common habit of hers, and she tells others that she's friends with strange dragons that never seem to have existed in the first place. She does, of course, think vivid thoughts. Most dragons seem to take that as an acceptable explanation.
