Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
When she was a hatchling, Batubalani chanced upon a rich vein of polarized magnetite which she found delicious. Upon her first year as an adult, exhibiting an activeness unknown in her species, she left the cave where she was reared and made her slow way to several rock quarries to try and find a big enough deposit of her favourite rock. Having found a suitable concentration of lodestone in a hillside, she settled down and is there still, her hide grown fuzzy due to the iron particles she has attracted. Travelers are often treated to the curious sight of a black, fuzzy dragon standing stock still, with her nose pointed north and her tail stiffly to the south.
