Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Prius has several friends who grew up in the mixed adoptive cave where he hatched, from the Shallow Water Dragons Pukka and Troika to the Waterhorse dragons Shellele and Sheldon. He also plays with the Coastal Waverunner Althenor, and rarely manages to spot and greet the deep dwellers Metellus and Orestea. He finds it strange that with all of these aquatic dragon friends, he fell in love with and mated a Red Dragon of as fiery temperament as her scales, Rhiana, only to bear aquatic offspring. He intends to be certain his mate gets plenty of time with their hatchling so that both heritages are honored in the upbringing.
