Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It spends a lot of time stalking and pouncing playfully on the tails of adult dragons nearby.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Apophenia sees connections or meanings in unrelated or meaningless data. When he looks up at the stars or moons at night, he thinks their positions can be used to determine who he is as a dragon. He also believes that slips of the mind, "the first word you can think of when I say (x)", and other spur-of-the-moment thoughts always say something about an individual. Even when he comes across some phenomenon that is by all accounts random, he'll see patterns in it anyway; give him a series of dice rolls, and Apophenia will try his best to find a pattern and predict what he'll roll next. They say that he'll grow up to be paranoid and delusional but prone to divergent thinking and creativity as well.
