Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

As a hatchling, Bevhara was so quiet for so long that her parents began to wonder if she were completely mute—telepathically and otherwise.  She's never grown out of this reticence, and often will go days without talking.  When Bevhara does speak, she does so in quiet monosyllables.  Everyone expected that she'd pair off with Olk, since the two had such similar personalities, so it was a complete surprise when she took such an interest in Iriu and the two left together.  Bevhara had always been so reluctant to share any personal opinions or wishes that nobody had suspected that she desired to travel (or that her taste in mates ran to someone like Iriu).  In Iriu, Bevhara has truly found her soulmate—someone calm and serene who is perfectly content spending most of her time in silence.
