Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s extremely curious and seems to enjoy exploring the area around it.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

FlamingPurpleHeart is a Purple Dragon hatchling who loves animals. She especially likes bunnies, and she rescues orphaned baby rabbits whenever she finds them. It is easy for a mother rabbit to be killed and eaten, leaving her kits behind. FlamingPurpleHeart usually finds a few baby bunnies every spring, and she raises them with gentle care, knowing her claws could easily tear through them like a hot knife in butter. FlamingPurpleHeart loves releasing her bunny friends back into the wild when they are grown. "Her" rabbits tend to avoid predators and live to ripe old ages, and they have tons of babies.
