White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pax is the undisputed leader among the healers of the clan. She is not only talented as a healer, having solid knowledge in all the different specialities, but also is very talented at dealing with dragons—colleagues and patients alike. Even her mother has no difficulties following her daughter's lead and is proud instead of jealous.

The only downside is that keeping peace between all those clashing dragon personalities leaves little to no time for Pax to search for a partner or if she had one to spend much time with her.

It's a good thing that Pax is happy enough with herself that she doesn't need a mate to feel complete. And to satisfy her wish for children of her own, she has come to a convenient arrangement with Zedd Junior. So while she might be missing some things, all in all her life is good.
