Golden Wyverns are known for their beautiful metallic scales and rumored magical abilities. Living high in the mountains, these dragons do not believe in killing for sport or pleasure. They will hunt only when hungry and defend themselves when provoked, but will avoid killing to the best of their abilities. Golden Wyverns often mingle with other dragons of similar color and take pride in their shimmering hide.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

When her pack of Golden Wyverns found the Highlands of Alba to settle in, Doirin was delighted. The sharp rocks, the thin air, the fierce wind curling around the peaks; it all felt like home. Making it a home turned out to be somewhat more difficult than they thought, however, with other clans of dragons already occupying these mountains and not keen on these new settlers.

Doirin was used to matching her strength and the force of her magic against powerful rivals. But the Ice and Snow dragons here proved to be something else. These opponents would never yield, never surrender—just rest while Doirin gave them the opportunity to flee, only to draw power from their elements and strike again when she had her back turned. The neverending conflict has worn her down, physically and mentally. Her scales are beginning to look lackluster, and she often lacks the energy for fun. She has to forage, has to fight, has to rest. And tomorrow it all begins again.
