Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It perfectly depicts autumn weather.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Leetle Autumn Leaves is, as his name might suggest, very fond of falling leaves.  He's very good at snatching them out of the air, and will sometimes compete with Leetle Winter Snowflakes to see who can catch the most in a given period of time.  In winter, the two hatchlings compete at catching snowflakes instead, with much debate over how many snowflakes a particularly large clump might contain.
