Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Eastwind Tempest would cruise on the sea breezes, usually the ones blowing due east. Sometimes she would go astray somewhat to the north or south, but she never rode the west winds. To go west, she had to use a great deal of energy since East was going against the winds. Her close yet extremely different friend Westgale Tempest was not as strict in his practices, but both always met when there was no wind at all to avoid conflicts. This was rare, as nearby dragons in the sea were always rigging up storms, and ironically, the duo also participated in them. Sometimes when the number of dragons were so great, a giant wind would blow, rain would rage, thunder would sound, lightning would flash, and the sea would churn. These dragons had the surname Tempest after the storms they caused.
