Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. This dragon is known as Moon's Shining Silver, the great father of most, if not all, the other Royal Blue dragons of the cave as well as a few others. He is known for his pride and wisdom. Mostly, Shining Silver is quiet and silent, not saying a word. However, if there is something important to be said, then he will talk and tell one of his children so that they may tell others. He is quiet and prefers peace, like many of his breed. If his family or home is threatened or in danger, then he will take action. His mate is Moon's Silver Hearts, or Silver Hearts.
