Electric Dragons wield electricity with great prowess. Bright sparks race across these dragons’ bodies in a dazzling dance of light, complemented by the blindingly radiant sparks on their tails. Using their bellies and manes as stores for this electrical energy, Electric Dragons wield crackling magic, stunning and electrocuting their prey with a whip of their tail. During mating season it is typically those with the most brilliant sparks—an indicator of strength and hunting ability—that are drawn to each other.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Jerkier is a do-gooder around Trot City, helping denizens with anything they need and reminding them to not littler and to conserve mana and the like. He's an honorary member of the firefighter team after putting out a house fire and a fire in someone's garden. Both were caused by knocked-over candles. Jerkier feels that candles are a rather dangerous method of lighting a space, but pretty much no one has electricity magic like him, so it's unfair to rub this in people's faces. Whenever he looks at a place with excessive open flames, he thinks really hard about some way he could share his bolts with others that's safe and long-lasting, but he must not be a very creative thinker because he hasn't come up with anything. Jerkier has read many stories of people just happening upon the right people in their quests. He is sometimes found sitting in his favorite eatery, Fox Edge, slowly eating and waiting for an eccentric but creative tinkerer to come in and meet him.
