Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Translucent was born very corrupt, in mental and physical states. As a hatchling, he was a runt compared to the other Albino dragons, and he would always get bullied. But he never minded, or rather, he never remembered, because his amnesia would act up every once in a while. When he matured enough to finally grow wings, they were mismatched, in size and in shape. One of them had dark blood vessels running through them, and the other seemed to have none at all. Likewise, when his horns grew in, they were also mismatched, one being slightly more curved than the other, and a bit longer.

Because of this, he prefers to be alone, but every once in a while a dragon would come along, and totally ignore his blemishes, and just treat him like a normal dragon.
