Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It likes to perch on the high branches of the taller trees and look longingly up at the sky.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Ojima believes that she is the best dragon that has ever been born to grace the earth. She knows that she is the prettiest, most intelligent, most kind, and most humble of any dragon that has ever or will ever be hatched. She doesn't hesitate to let the other hatchlings in her Cave know this as well. Fortunately for the rest of the hatchlings, Ojima's parents frequently punish her for her arrogant attitude and wish they could do more to stifle her pride. At least a little.
