Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Dragon Born Under a Blue Moon is a brave, kind loner. The rest of the royal blues in her cave are members of the New Year Clan while she is a Moony Dragon and sometimes that makes her feel like she's not very well accepted but the truth is everyone loves her for her kindness and generosity. Although for now she is separated from the Moony Clan she occasionally goes to meet with the rest of them. However, as she was moved to Eaglestar's cave when she was only an egg she does not truly feel that her family is as close as she would like. She was named "Dragon Born Under a Blue Moon" because the human who took care of her when she was an egg found her beautiful combination of blue and silver and the strange way she was influenced by the moon inspirational. Although for now she is alone someday she will find someone who she knows truly appreciates her and who she will love back.
