Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has brightly colored fins on its back.

And look! It has grown larger fins! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Kiddo Pop comes from a dark legacy. She shook off the creeping tendrils of shadow from her mother's side, and the cruel tendencies of her father. But when she was just newly hatched, Kiddo Pop met a laughable Spring Dragon, Prippy. She had been frozen, like Kiddo, and they struck up a cheerful conversation. Since then Kiddo Pop has named herself something joyful and senseless. Despite the fierce looks of a normal Dorsal Dragon, she is a kind spirit at heart. Look in her eyes- you'll see the truth.
