Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This dragon goes in and out of moods depending on the time of year.

For most of the year she is snappy and rude. She stays secluded in her cave, not talking to anyone, leaving only for food and drink. The hatchlings (Adults avoid her from experience) who accidentally venture in will get a yelling and scolding they'll never forget. This worsens in the summer, where she will actually attack.

But as the weather gets colder and the landscape snowier, her mood gradually brightens. Eventually her "GET OUT OF MY CAVE" turns to "Please Leave" to "Hello." Come the week before Christmas, she will actually leave her cave to socialize with other dragons. Come Christmas itself she is at her brightest, giving presents to all throughout the cave, wishing Adults and Hatchlings alike a Merry Christmas, and pitching in with the other Winter Dragons to make Christmas Dinner. All is fine and well until she eventually and inevitably snaps back into her old cranky and violent disposition again.
