Sweetlings are a small, flightless breed of dragon. They are omnivores who favor sweet fruits and honey, and have been known to go to great lengths to obtain their favorite treats. Their long, prehensile tails allow them to grab onto branches and give them superior balance. Sweetlings are expressive dragons and have a large array of calls to communicate with others. They become very vocal during breeding season and sing long, beautiful melodies to attract a mate. Inquisitive in nature, Sweetlings are known to investigate anything that piques their interest, and are quick to flee if the object of their curiosity strikes back.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Eros the Curious, known as Errie to friends, is a very innocent dragon. He is described as childlike very often, due to his unsullied mind and his obsession with sweets, especially syrup. He tends to spend a lot of time with the hatchlings of his cave, playing games and telling stories. He even helps them get into mischief sometimes; he seems fond of stealing molasses from his master. While he is often dismissed as immature, he is actually very wise, although he doesn't always show it. His innocent way of thinking has given him a pure viewpoint on many topics, free of bias and hatred. He firmly believes that all love is beautiful, no matter what. However, this has led to harrassment from some dragons, who Eros does his best to avoid. He is often teased for having a crush on Regal Strength Thuwed, although he denies the existence of said crush. He claims to be involved with Gold Snowfall, but although they were once mates, Eros does seem rather shy around Regal Strength.
